Must read

BJP State unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday alleged that Congress had played communal politics in Karnataka and succeeded in securing the votes of one group for the party. JDS State unit president cautioned the electorate that the BJP would come to power if the votes of the secular parties were split.

Alleging that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is an “invisible” of the Congress party and they are going to work together in Telangana in the upcoming elections, Snajay said. The Congress, BRS, AIMIM and Communists would work unitedly whenever elections are held in Telangana. The Congress leaders like N Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Jana Reddy and Komatireddy already make it very clear. He said that the Congress and the BRS leaders were already together in Delhi.

Sanjay alleged that Congress tried to conduct Karnataka camp politics in Telangana with the help of KCR in case of a hung verdict. He said, however, the Telangana people would certainly reject the minority appeasement politics in Telangana.

Stating that all the pseudo-secularist parties cannot stop the victory of the BJP in Telangana, he threw a challenge to KCR to impose a ban on Bajrang Dal and PFI if he has guts.

He alleged that the people of Telangana are facing a lot of problems in the regime of KCR. The State has fallen into a debt trap and there is difficulty in giving salaries to the employees, he said. He said the Telangana people would get justice and development is possible only if BJP came to power.

While speaking to the media at Karimnagar on Saturday, Sanjay alleged that the Congress had stolen votes by showing the BJP as a bogeyman. Congress had played politics against the Hindu community and made a mockery of it, he alleged. He said that the Karnataka model politics would not work in Telangana. The Congress would certainly lose its in Telangana in the upcoming elections, he said.

He said that the Congress party lost its deposits in Huzurabad, Munugode and Dubbaka elections and it lost elections in GHMC severely. He said that the BJP vote bank increased a lot in Telangana when compared with the 2018 elections. The party won 4 MP seats too, he said.

Sanjay said that the BJP vote bank did not decrease and it got 36 per cent votes similar to the last elections. However, the number of seats came down. In the last elections, the Congress got 80 seats with 38 per cent votes. This time Congress got 43 per cent votes and 136 seats. JDS got 20 per cent votes in the last elections. The JDS secured 13 per cent votes. The Congress gained votes belonging to JDS only, he explained.
