Residents Nagulakunta Thanda and Gormelakunta Thanda in Khanapur mandal on Saturday called on Minister for Agriculture S Niranjan Reddy at his quarters in Hyderabad and aired their problems to him. The Minister assured them that he would look into their problems.
Khanapur Sarpanch Hanmantu, ward member P Krishna and others joined the BRS from the Congress in the presence of the Minister.
The Minister assured them that BRS alone would be able to solve their problems. The development of Telangana can be achieved only under KCR regime. The State made rapid strides in e education, medical and health, agriculture, employment, electricity and transport sectors, he said.
Also, the contours of the villages have undergone complete change with the implement of Palle Pragati, he said.
With the availability of irrigation facility, the area under cultivation has increased checking the migration of workers. The farmers and agricultural workers hands are full with work. In fact, there is reverse migration to the villages, he said.
The State is ahead of other States in terms of the per capita income, he said urging them to standby the government that works.
The Minister issued directions to the officials to lay BT roads to Nagulakunta Thandas.
