The Telangana Congress is full of Josh after the party’s Karnataka victory. The Telangana Congress has been making moves to win the upcoming elections in the state. As part of it, the party has been concentrating on filling up party posts besides concentrating on inductions.
The party high command gave directions to Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakre to concentrate on filling up TPCC positions as soon as possible. As per the directions of the party high command, Thakre is going to stay in Hyderabad till July 6 to complete all leftover jobs.
Now, Thakre will concentrate on filling the posts of TPCC General Secretaries, Secretaries and AICC posts apart from the post of the TPCC Vice-President, it is learnt. The party would also fill the AICC Programmes Implementation Committee Chairman post as it became vacant after Aleti Maheshwar Reddy joined the BJP and the posts in the Manifesto Committee.Thakre would also concentrate on the July 2 Khammam meeting in which suspended BRS leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will be joining the Congress.
The party’s high command has asked the state leadership during the recent Telangana election meeting held in New Delhi to complete the filling up of posts as soon as possible.
The party may give a chance to leaders who did not get any posts although they deserved it. The unhappiness of the leaders would be eliminated by giving them posts. It is also learnt that the exercise has already started for some posts as the party has sought recommendations from its leaders.
