Coordination ensured peaceful elections, counting of votes’

East Godavari District Collector K Madhavi Latha has said that the elections and the counting of votes were conducted in the district peacefully without any untoward incident anywhere.
Addressing a programme here on Thursday, the Collector lauded the Returning Officers, Nodal officers and the staff for working diligently and efficiently to conduct the elections and the counting in a peaceful environment.
She thanked the election, counting officials and the central and state police personnel for their cooperation for holding the elections and counting peacefully.
“The 2024 election process has been completed without even a single untoward incident anywhere in the district. The Revenue, the police and the entire district machinery worked in a coordinated manner to conduct the elections and the counting process,”, she stated.
The Collector praised Joint Collector N Tej Bharat, Commissioner K Dinesh Kumar, Sub-Collector Asuthosh Srivatsav and DRO G Narasimhulu and his team for their efficient work in this regard. Collector Madhavi Latha also extolled the print and electronic media for playing a vital role in conducting the elections and counting peacefully.
