The Pulivendula police are conducting an intensive search for YS Avinash Reddy’s Personal Assistant, Raghava Reddy. A search warrant has been issued, and a notice has been posted at his residence at Ambakapalli in Lingala mandal of YSR district. The police have confirmed they are authorised to search the premises at any time and seize items, digital documents, or other suspicious materials.
Raghava Reddy, who has been absconding for the past one week, has filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Kadapa court. He is accused of posting derogatory content on social media about YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter, Sunitha Reddy, allegedly under the direction of MP YS Avinash Reddy. Varra Ravinder Reddy, a YSRCP social media activist, has reportedly mentioned in his statement to the police supporting these allegations.
Police have intensified surveillance in Raghava Reddy’s native village, Ambakapalli, as well as in Pulivendula and Lingala mandals, to locate him.
In a related case, the police issued 41-A notices to YSRCP’s district social media convenor Vivekananda Reddy. Cases under the IT Act, BNS Act, and SC/ST Atrocity Act were registered on November 8 against YSRCP social media activists V Ravinder Reddy, Sajjala Bharghav Reddy, and Arjun Reddy.
