The ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) Court on Thursday granted partial relief to Dhanunjay Reddy and Krishna Mohan Reddy by permitting them to receive food from outside sources thrice a week during their judicial custody.

According to the court’s directive, the duo will be allowed outside food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

The order was issued in response to petitions filed by the two accused, seeking improved facilities while in jail.

Further, the court instructed prison authorities to categorise both individuals under the “special category” as per provisions in the jail manual. This classification entitles inmates to certain privileges based on factors such as health condition, social standing, or other considerations outlined in the regulations.

The ruling aligns with standard legal procedures in cases involving high-profile detainees, ensuring that the prison administration provides the allowances permitted under law to under-trial prisoners.
