District Collector C Narayana Reddy conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing comprehensive family survey at Uppariguda village under Ibrahimpatnam mandal in the district on Sunday. During the visit, the Collector emphasised the importance of adhering to government guidelines while conducting the survey and addressed the enumerators on the process.
The Collector revealed that a total of 5,376 enumeration blocks have been identified across the district for this extensive exercise. To ensure the smooth execution of the survey, enumerators have been appointed, and additional staff have been trained as backup to be deployed wherever necessary. He noted that despite being a Sunday, the survey was being conducted efficiently across all designated blocks without any interruptions.
The Collector urged families to keep their Aadhaar cards and ration cards readily available when the survey teams visit. He also appealed to village heads and local youths to cooperate with the authorities to facilitate the process. He explained that the comprehensive data collected through this survey would enable the government to better understand the needs of eligible households and extend appropriate welfare.
Collector Narayana Reddy assured that the survey would be completed within 15 days, followed by a 10-day period dedicated to entering the collected data. He instructed the enumerators to gather details from every family meticulously, ensuring no household is left out. The inspection was attended by Ibrahimpatnam Mandal Revenue Officer Sunitha, survey staff, and other concerned officials, who actively participated in the programme.
