CP rewards 60 high-risk cops for improving health through Fitcop app

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anansd rewarded 60 high-risk police officers for improving their health through the Fitcop app, on Saturday.

The Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), a non-profit NGO engaged by the Hyderabad city police for the Fitcop initiative, has completed health screenings of 16,000 police officers in the last six months. The team presented their analysis to the top brass, revealing that the consciousness of health culture has improved in the organisation. These officers, of various age groups, shared their transformation journey with their peers.

Addressing the gathering, City Police Chief Anand stressed the importance of taking nutritious diets and explained the benefits of weight training and stretching. He shared tips on striking the correct balance between maintaining muscle and shedding excess weight, chronicling his own weight management. He also suggested replicating the health culture within families and announced a few perks for those who transformed to a better state of health.

The Helping Hand Foundation announced that they will follow up with high-risk candidates on a daily basis. CP Anand presented T-shirts and appreciation certificates to the awardees.

Gajarao Bhupal, Jt.CP (SMIT & Coordination),  D Sunitha Reddy, DCP – ICCC, HHF team head Mujtaba, and other staff officers were present.
