CPI State secretary and former MLA K Ramakrishna has alleged that the BJP-led Central government has neglected the people’s problems, however, the saffron party is trying to get votes from the public by splitting them. Also, the right-wing party leaders are planning to remain the rule after getting the votes, he commented.
The Left leader addressed the media people at the party State office Dasari Bhavan in Vijayawada on Thursday and said that the BJP is trying to get the rule by provoking Hindus against Muslims. As general elections draw near, Union Home Minister Amith Shah is speaking about the CAA and NRC again and again.
He made serious allegations against the ruling YSRCP and the Opposition TDP for failing to get the Special Category Status for the State. These two political parties assured people during the 2019 elections of striving to get SCS if they were voted to power.
However, both parties failed, he criticised.
Later, Ramakrishna extended his party’s support for the Congress party’s announcement regarding the Special Category Status at a public meeting in Tirupati on Friday.
CPI State secretariat members Jalli Wilson and Akkineni Vanaja were present.
