The second phase of the CREDAI Property Show was inaugurated at Shree Convention Centre, Kompally, on Friday. Organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI), this event follows the success of first property show at Hitex. The Kompally event, running from August 9 to 11, 2024, showcases a wide range of properties, including apartments, villas, plots, and commercial spaces in areas like Balanagar, Kompally, Shamirpet, Medchal, Alwal and Patancheru.
President of CREDAI Hyderabad, V Rajashekar Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s booming real estate market, with a 29% annual growth in unit sales value from H1-CY19 to H1-CY24. The city saw a 257% increase in the value of units sold and a 148% rise in housing unit sales in H1-CY24 compared to H1-CY19. He emphasised the city’s rapid transformation into a global hub, driven by infrastructure projects like new roads, expanded metro and MMTS networks, and the Musi Riverfront initiative.
Reddy also noted that proactive government policies have encouraged balanced growth across Hyderabad, particularly in the north, known for its e-commerce warehouses, Medical Devices Park, and Genome Valley. The CREDAIbility-themed property show aims to spotlight this region’s real estate potential.
The President-elect of CREDAI Hyderabad, Jaideep Reddy and B. Jagannath Rao, Secretary of CREDAI Hyderabad, also spoke about the city’s real estate growth, attributing it to government policies and the development of industrial corridors. Jagannath assured to increase 360-degree growth across the city along with industrial corridors spread across Core Urban Region (CUR) of Hyderabad, where North corridor has already benefitted from it. Jaideep encouraged homebuyers to take advantage of the rising demand and property values in North Hyderabad.
