Cricket hub to be set up at Mangalagiri: ACA chief

Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) president and Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) has announced that the ACA will soon establish a cricket hub at Mangalagiri in Guntur district. He further stated that the association is actively working towards hosting international cricket matches at the ACA Stadium in Mangalagiri.
The ACA Apex Council meeting was held on Thursday at the Andhra Cricket Academy, located within the ACA Stadium premises in Mangalagiri. Key decisions aimed at promoting cricket in the State were taken during the meeting.
Following the meeting, president Kesineni Chinni addressed the media, confirming that the ACA would allocate necessary funds to upgrade the Mangalagiri stadium’s infrastructure to meet international standards. He also revealed that, according to the council’s resolutions, the ACA is planning to develop a Sports Hub in Visakhapatnam, in addition to the existing international stadium there.
Chinni further mentioned that, with the support of Human Resources and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, improvements to roads and parking facilities at the Mangalagiri Stadium would be undertaken.
He expressed confidence that the stadium would soon be ready to host international matches alongside the Visakhapatnam stadium. ACA Vice President Venkata Prasanth, Secretary Sana Satish, Joint Secretary P. Vishnukumar Raju, Treasurer Dandamudi Srinivas, Councillor Gouru Vishnu Tej, and others were present at the meeting.
