Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari visited Golkonda Fort and inspected the arrangements being made for the Independence Day celebrations. She instructed the officials to make necessary arrangements and work in close coordination to make the event a grand success. Chief Secretary along with senior officials took a round of the venue and inspected the arrangements.
The Police department has been asked to make proper bandobust arrangements as per the blue book. She also asked the police to inform the traffic diversions well in advance for the convenience of the general public Chief Secretary discussed in detail on the arrangements being put in place by the concerned departments.
She took stock of the traffic management, seating arrangements, power, water supply, sanitation, medicare besides distribution of invitation cards and cultural programmes.
GAD Secretary apprised the Chief Secretary about the overall arrangements being made at the venue for the smooth conduct of Independence day. Additional CP Traffic Sudhir Babu, Secretary R&B Srinivas Raju, Commissioner GHMC Ronald Rose, MD Water Board Danakishore, Commissioner I&PR Ashok Reddy and other senior officials were present.
