Chief Secretary Reviews Proposed Amendment of President’s Order for State Bifurcation
State Chief Secretary, KS Jawahar Reddy, presided over a meeting with officials from various departments to discuss the proposed amendment to the President’s order, which is aimed at addressing the challenges arising from the state bifurcation and restructuring the local and zonal systems. Given the creation of new districts in the State, the CS reviewed the proposed changes to President’s Order No 1975, which includes revamping the existing zonal system and integrating the new districts into new zones and multi-zones. During the meeting, P Bhaskar, Secretary of the Services Department, provided insights into the proposed new zonal system, along with other pertinent issues related to the amendment of the President’s order.
