In 2023 Balakrishna had two films released ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ and both films are blockbusters. Interestingly in 2024 he don’t have any release, so in this New Year he is coming in the beginning with his ‘Daaku Maharaaj’. Bobby Kolli, who earlier gave a blockbuster ‘Waltair Veerayya’ to Chiranjeevi, is the director for this film. Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi Rautela are the female leads, while Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is playing the villain in this one. The film was released on January 12, 2025 for the Sankranthi festival. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, Sai Soujanya are the producers.
The budget for this film is around Rs 100 crore and Balakrishna is on a successful streak with his earlier three films. He is also an MLA representing Hindupur Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. The film is releasing mostly in Telugu States only.
