Dail Yout MD: 36 called up to pour out grievances

On the first day of Dail Your MD received 36 calls from the consumers from Hyderabad on Saturday.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) managingdirector Sudarshan Reddy spoke to people and assured them that their problems would be addressed. The programme was held between 4 pm and  5.30 pm on Saturday.
People called from Uppal, Dilsukhnagar, Nagol, Shaikpet, Gowlipura, Balanagar, Jubilee Hills, Panjagutta, Nampally and other parts of the city and explained their problems. Most of the problems were related to drinking water supply, contaminated water, low pressure, sewage overflow, leakages from pipe lines and drainage problems.
People from beyond GHMC and inside ORR called and asked for new tap connections. While the reservoirs have been completed as part of the ORR Phase-2 project in this area, the authorities have assured that the connections will be granted as soon as distribution lines are laid.
Executive Director M Satyanarayana, Revenue Director VL. Praveen Kumar, Operations Director-2 Swamy, and other officials participated in this programme.
