Date extended for online applications

Responding to appeals from journalist unions, the Information & Public Relations Department (I&PR) has decided to extend the time for the submission of online applications for house sites by journalists by one week. Accredited journalists now have time until February 26 to apply for these housing opportunities.
In a press lease on Monday, I&PR Commissioner Thumma Vijay Kumar Reddy announced that the application window would remain open until Monday, February 26. He said that both unregistered individuals and those who encountered difficulties in submitting their applications would benefit from this extended timeframe. Commissioner Reddy underscored the State government’s commitment to providing housing solutions for all eligible journalists across the State.
