The Telangana Drug Control Administration (DCA) and the Prohibition & Excise department conducted a major joint operation on Wednesday in Hyderabad. They uncovered a network involved in the illegal sale and distribution of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The DCA officials seized a significant amount of drugs at GV Saluja Hospital, including Fentanyl, Ketamine, Pentazocine, and Midazolam injections. Neha Bhagwath, a resident of Moulali, illegally acquired these drugs and stored them at her home for distribution to unlicenced entities in the State.
Neha Bhagwath has a history of drug offences, including previous cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Additional raids were also conducted at various hospitals linked to Bhagwath.
