Debts, suicides, crime rate rising in Telangana, says KTR

BRS Working President KTR said that Telangana is witnessing a rise in debts, crime rate and suicides.
“The real estate industry has gone down in Shankarpally. I too have land there in Janwada. HYDRAA is kept for me it seems, let him demolish,” he said.
KTR launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress leadership ridiculing the party’s Telangana in-charge Meenakshi for asking leaders not to carry bags.
Speaking at an event, where former MPP Govardhan Reddy and 500 BJP and Congress workers joined the BRS, KTR said it was ironic that
Congress leaders are talking about bag-carrying when Revanth’s entire political history revolved around it.

“Revanth first carried bags for Chandrababu Naidu, and now he is doing the same for the Congress high command. The only thing he knows is carrying bags, not governance,” KTR said.

He accused the Congress government of financial mismanagement, stating that while former Chief Minister KCR took loans to create wealth and distribute it among the people, Revanth had borrowed Rs 1.5 lakh crore in just a year with nothing to show for it.

KTR did not hold back his criticism and said that Telangana’s resources were being looted and sent to Rahul Gandhi’s accounts.

He said the state was peaceful under KCR’s rule, but had now collapsed under Congress misrule. Listing a series of recent failures, he pointed to the SLBC tunnel tragedy, the Pedda Vagu breach, and the submersion of the Vattam pump house as examples of the Congress government’s inefficiency.

Mocking Revanth Reddy’s promise of direct cash transfers by January 26, KTR said not even a single rupee had been deposited into people’s accounts.

“Farm loan waivers are stalled, pensions haven’t increased, there is no Rythu Bharosa, no gold for women and Kalyana Lakshmi has been halted,” he said, accusing the Congress government of betraying the people.
