Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy challenged former Municipal and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao and former Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao to demolish his house if it is located in the FTL area of a water body or its buffer zone. Ponguleti asked KTR and Harish to go along with HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath and check whether his house is in the FTL area or in the buffer zone of a water body. The Revenue Minister said that KTR’s relatives have constructed houses in the FTL areas of water bodies. Ponguleti said that he had thrown a challenge during the Assembly elections. “I will not give a chance to the KCR family to advise me. KTR is now saying that the Janwada farmhouse belongs to his friend and if it is so then how was an FIR filed against Revanth Reddy then? How come the Janwada farmhouse belonged to KTR then and not now? KTR said that his house is not his but I am not like that.
The house where I am staying now is in the name of my son but I will not say that it is not mine,” he said. Ponguleti said that on Thursday a YouTube channel shot a video of his residence standing in front of it but he did not file any complaint. However, the YouTube channel reporter said that he had estimated the house’s location. The Revenue Minister said that he had asked the YouTube channel reporter to explain what his reaction would be if HYDRAA officials went to the spot and found the house was not in the FTL area or in the buffer zone of a water body. The Minister said that HYDRAA officials demolished the house of a relative of former Union Minister Pallamraju. He asked KTR to reveal the lease amount of Janwada farmhouse and added that some media outlets and KTR’s sycophants are engaging in spreading lies about him. He said that people should not get deceived and that is why the government had set up HYDRAA.
