DEO presents voter information kit to CEO Vikas Raj

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vikas Raj highlighted the importance of casting votes responsibly on May 13, the day of the Lok Sabha elections.
After visiting the CEO’s house On Saturday, District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose delivered the voter information slip, polling date, and a sticker indicating ‘I am proud to be a voter’.
On this occasion, CEO Vikas Raj urged citizens to vote fearlessly, avoiding any temptations. He emphasised that voting is a weapon safeguarding democracy and shaping the nation’s future. He said, The Lok Sabha elections on May 13 should be celebrated as a festival of democracy. Just having an epic card is not sufficient, one must ensure their name is on the voter list.
Ronald Rose elaborated on the voter slip and sticker distribution process to the CEO. He said that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting every household to distribute voter information slips and stickers, with a higher percentage distributed compared to the last assembly elections.
Ronald Rose also visited the residence of DGP Ravi Gupta, presenting him with the voter slip and sticker.
Addressing the gathering, DGP Ravi Gupta said, stringent security measures are in place to prevent any unexpected incidents during the voting process on May 13. He also urged everyone to exercise their right to vote.
Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner B Hemant Sahadev Rao, Jubilee Hills and Begumpet Deputy Commissioner Prashanthi, Sammaiah, and other officials participated in the program.
