Deputy Election Commissioner visits Durga temple

Deputy Election Commissioner and Special Officer Dharmendra Sharma visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Saturday. He performed a special puja for the goddess.
Dharmendra Sharma visited Vijayawada for two-day meetings with all district collectors and SPs. On the second day, i.e., on Saturday, Sharma visited the Durga temple.
The temple authorities provided a warm welcome to the Deputy Election Commissioner. Later, temple scholars gave blessings to him at the Veda Ashirvachanam Mandapam and presented Laddu Prasadam, Sesha Vastram and a portrait of the goddess.
Temple Assistant Executive Officer N Ramesh, NTR District Joint Collector Dr P Sampath Kumar, and Vijayawada West Zone ACP Dr K Hanumantha Rao accompanied him.
