Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has stated that the Hyderabad witnessed development during the Congress rule only. He said that the Congress government would take suggestions of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI)
While addressing the CREDAI Property Show on Sunday at HiTex here, Vikramarka said that the Central government undertakings like BHEL, ECIL, DRDO were established in Hyderabad when the Congress was in government. The Outer Ring Road was also constructed during the Congress government. Foundation stones were laid for International Airport, Hi-Tech City and others during Congress governments only. He said that Hyderabad witnessed develpment because of  the foresight of the Congress rulers and the real estate has been developing in Hyderabad due to Congress foresight only.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the credit for bringing Godavari water from Sripada Yellampally and Krishna water from Nagarjuna Sagar and Manjeera and Gandipet water to Hyderabad city should go to the Congress governments only.
He said that the Congress government speeded up the mission to bring Krishna water to Hyderabad by completing Sunkishala. He said that the Congress government remains accessible to one and all round-the-clock.
Vikramarka said that they completed the allocation of land and funds for the regional ring road immediately after coming to power. The Congress government laid the foundation stone for the elevated corridor after persuading the Centre to transfer defence lands to the State government.
He said that the Congress government is preparing a master plan for the development of the area situated between ORR and RRR. He said that industrial clusters would be set up there. He said that they are going to take up economical activities in the catchment area of Musi River similar to Thames river located in London.
He said that the response to the property show is good. He said that the Congress government will accept the advice of the CREDAI. And doors are always open for them, he added.
