On Sunday, a huge number of devotees visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada and had darshan of goddess Durga Devi. In this connection, the temple authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the devotees.
Durga Temple Trust Board Chairman Karnati Rambabu and Executive Officer (EO) D Bramaramba supervised the arrangements made for the devotees. For the sake of the world, temple priests, and archakas performed Suryopasana Seva. Also, Sri Ammavari Khadgamala Archana, Lakshma Kumkuma Archana, Sri Chakranavaavarnarchana, Chandi Homamu, Shanthi Kalyanam and others were present.
Meanwhile, a couple from Ramanthapur, Hyderabad Annam Malleswara Rao, and Jhansi Lakshmi presented a Rs.1 lakh cheque to trust board chairman Rambabu for the Nitya Annadanam scheme. Also, M Ramana and SV Vijaya Sri from Visakhapatnam donated an Rs.2.40 lakh cheque in the name of N Snigdha for conducting Annadanam.
The temple authorities provided darshan as per the temple tradition. Later, temple scholars blessed them at the Veda Ashirvachanam Mandapam.
