Dhanush, the versatile star actor and director, announced the latest update about his next movie, D50. Apart from starring in it, he is also directing the film. It is his second film as a director. He made his directorial debut with Pa Pandi in 2017. After scoring a blockbuster with SIR/Vaathi this year, Dhanush has recently wrapped shooting for his next film Captain Miller. His later film was announced as D50. He announced the commencement of shoot with a poster.
Dhanush has kicked off the shooting of his second directorial venture, tentatively titled D50, which is expected to be a gangster drama with a lot of action and emotion. He shared a striking poster of the film on Twitter, featuring him with a bald head, shirtless holding a knife. Dhanush captioned it, “#D50 #DD2 Shoot begins @sunpictures Om Namashivaya.”
The poster has created a huge buzz among the fans and the film industry, as many are curious to see what Dhanush has in store for them as a director. D50 is said to be an intense gangster drama. According to reports SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali and Kalidas Jayaram are part of the project.
The film is said to be shot in a single stretch for 90 days in a hugely erected set. The team is planning to release a glimpse video of the film soon to give a sneak peek into the world of D50. He has also announced his next Hindi film, titled Tere Ishq Mein, with director Aanand L Rai.
