Dharani scam bigger than Kaleshwaram scam: Javadekar

Must read

BJP MP Prakash Javadekar described the TS government as ‘Bhoomi Donga’ and said that records about huge chunks of land went missing and thousands of farmers have lost their lands.
“Many people have lost lands. Where are the land records? No Grama Sabha was held to validate land records. No field visit to check land boundaries. Village Revenue Officers were posted somewhere else. Other than Dharani there are no land records. What happened to physical land records? Where have they gone?” asked Prakash Javadekar while speaking to reporters here on Friday along with state BJP President G. Kishan Reddy and Rajya Sabha Member K. Laxman.
“The land records software was developed by the Centre and was given to States to use according to their convenience. In Telangana, the TCS used to organise the software but it left after three months and the responsibility was entrusted to TerraCIS Technologies, a foreign private company engaged in data mining. That means not only data about lands but data about the entire government and private individuals went into private hands. Who are the shareholders and partners of this company?” thundered Javadekar and added that government lands, temple lands, Bhoodan lands, assigned lands, ED seized lands and lakes went missing and the government itself has turned into ‘Bhoomi Donga.’
Assuring that these lands will be given back to their original owners and those responsible for missing lands will be punished after the BJP comes to power in the State, Javadekar said that those who found their lands missing can file a complaint at dharanicomplaints.BJP@gmail.com. He also provided some WhatsApp numbers to forward complaints.
Kishan said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in BJP’s election campaigns in Gadwal, Nalgonda and Warangal districts on Saturday and would release the party’s election manifesto in the evening.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, Assam Chief Minister Himanth Biswa Sharma and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawanth will participate in the BJP’s election campaign.
Referring to the apologies offered by former Union Minister Chidambaram regarding the deaths of 1,200 youths in Telangana during the TS stir, Kishan said that the Congress was responsible for their deaths as it did not grant a separate State in time.
