Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Nirmala High School on Dec 22

The stage is set to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee function of Nirmala High School on December 22, said the school Principal and NOSA Director GB Antony. Antony said that on the occasion of 60 years of Nirmala High School, they will celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of the school on Friday and the Nirmala Old Students Association Golden Jubilee celebrations on Saturday. In a press conference organized at Patamata Nirmala High School on Tuesday, a brochure related to the Diamond Jubilee celebrations was unveiled.
On this occasion, GB Antony said that the school was started in 1963 under the aegis of missionaries. He said that lakhs of students pursued their schooling from the school till date. He said that it is a pride to the school that students of the school are settled across various places in the country and abroad in a very good position.
Expressing happiness on completing 50 years of the old students’ alumni of the school, he congratulated the old students of the school.
Nirmala High School Alumni Association President TV Shiva Rama Rao and Secretary Peddi Yashaswini said that their association gives the highest priority to the development of the school by organizing many social service activities and cultural programmes under the aegis of Nirmala School alumni.
The chief guests of the programme will be Rev Fr Joseph Raja Rao, Bishop, State Government ITE&C Department Secretary Kona Sasidhar, District Collector S Dilli Rao, Municipal Commissioner Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar, District Education Officer CV Renuka, Nirmala High School alumnus, film actress Laya and others have announced that they will participate.
