YSR launched Jalayagnam aiming to provide irrigation to 40 lakh acres. The Telugu states would be different in case the YSR had not died. Even enemies like YSR’s character, he said.
Digvijaya said that he learnt a lot from YSR. YSR would have staged a dharna in Delhi against the BJP’s black farmer acts if YSR was alive, he said.
The UPA government would not have had 2 supplies in case YSR as the British existed there in 2004 and 2009. YSR would have waged movements against critical conditions the nation is facing now if he is alive.

YSR stepped forward and said that even if he faced trouble for people. YSR reduced the prices of Monsanto seeds. YSR tried hard to transform agriculture a beneficial one. The present government (BJP government), had said that it would double the farmers revenue and reduce the revenue of farmers. YSR would not have done good if is alive now, he said.

YSR used to respect the opinions of everyone as he became the CM after fighting for several years. YSR included free power in the Congress manifesto while mounting pressure on the Congress high command. Once YSR asked whether national parties didn’t need regional interests, Sudarshan Reddy recalled. YSR was the leader of the regional consciousness.
CPI National Secretary Narayana said that economic raids took place on YSR and is in power. “I asked YSR then whether he would launch a regional party? YSR replied that his political commitment is with Congress and that there is no question of leaving the Congress.
