Dil Raju secured the president post with a majority of 33 votes. The final results of Telugu Film Chamber Elections were released on Sunday.
C Kalyan and Dil Raju contested for the president post. The total votes for the post is 48 whereas the majority mark is 25.
Out of 12 members of Producers Executive Committee, seven voted for Dil Raju whereas five voted for Kalyan. When comes to the Distributor Executive Committee, out of 12 members, six voted for Raju and six voted for Kalyan, resulting in a tie.
Also, out of four members from the Studio Executive Committee, three voted for Raju while one voted for Kalyan. When it comes to the Exhibitors Executive Committee, out of 18, eight voted for Dil Raju whereas eight voted for Kalyan.
Nagarjuna was elected for the vice-president’s post whereas Vijayendra Reddy was elected for the treasurer’s post.
