Director Mahi V. Raghav dispels baseless rumours

Must read

A narrative from Andhrajyothy is making waves in the political community. To assist Jagan Mohan Reddy in the elections of 2014 and 2019, Mahi V Raghav produced the movies Yatra and Yatra 2! These are propaganda movies meant to sway the public in the run-up to the elections, it seems. It has been revealed that Mahi V Raghav sought for two acres in Horsley Hills to build a rural mini studio and amusement park. The application was expedited by the government last month. Following all of these unfounded rumours, the director made it clear, saying, “I would have asked for a place to build a studio in Hyderabad or Vizag if my intention was not to develop and contribute to my region.” Filmmaker Mahi V. Raghav also asks media in return, “Why would I want to build a studio at Madanapalle, which is considered a backward area.” Mahi V. Raghav addressed these claims and provided more clarification. As he put it… “I have sixteen years of experience in the film industry as a writer, producer, and director. In 2008, I made my cinematic debut. I have founded the production companies Moon Water Pictures and Three Autumn Leaves. As a producer and director in the field, I am highly experienced. Moreover, Rayalaseema includes Madanapalle, where I was born and raised. My studies were finished in my hometown as well. Yet, Rayalaseema is not very significant in the movie business. Nobody expresses interest in using this location to shoot movies. Save the Tigers and Anando Brahma are two of my projects that weren’t shot in Rayalaseema. In the Rayalaseema area, I shot Paathasala, Yatra 2, Siddha Lokamela Undi, and Shaitaan. Between 20 and 25 crores have been sent to these three projects. I wish to make a contribution to the community where I was born and raised, which is the reason for this. I have used my hard-earned money at my birthplace because of this. Locals will profit from the filming because lodging, hotels, food, and juniors are required for the shoot. I have made the decision to construct a little studio in Rayalaseema during my journey. With my studio, I hope to benefit the community.”

Horsley Hills is a well-liked tourist destination with cool summertime temperatures. Large swarms of tourists from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana come here. Thus, the land is extremely valuable commercially. “Anyone with a common sense can consider and comprehend this. I have not requested fifty or one hundred acres for the purpose of building a studio. On just two acres, I intended to construct a small studio. In addition to helping people who wish to film a movie or web series, these shoots also assist the local community. There will be basic facilities here so that shootings can take place. What is the issue with this? Nobody will ever do anything if they don’t want to. For the benefit of Rayalaseema, no one from the industry has ever come forward in all these years. Nobody raised their hand. You don’t want anyone to come forward and you don’t intend to do it either. Some media outlets don’t even consider this. Their people were given land anywhere they requested for by their kind government. Nobody queries this. However, they are creating a stir when I wish to develop a small studio on two acres in my neighborhood to benefit the locals.”
