In the past few weeks, Hyderabad has seen two significant drug busts, which have led to the arrest of a number of politicians and celebrities. Tollywood director Vasu Varma and writer Manneri Prudhvi Krishna alias Divakar have just been detained in connection with a drug case.
According to reports, the Madhapur police detained him on suspicion of buying and using drugs. Additionally, Prudhvi Krishna, the aforementioned writer, is considered to be a recurrent drug user. Even though these two people were detained on September 5, Madhapur police have only recently informed the media of their arrests.
According to reports, several additional well-known people who are involved in the purchase and consumption of narcotics will have their names revealed as a result of the continuing inquiry.
