As the much-anticipated release of Prasanna Vadanam finally happenned on Thursday, lead actor Suhas took the stage with the Hyderabadi media to offer a glimpse into the unique suspense thriller helmed by director Arjun YK. Produced by JS Manikantha and TR Prasad Reddy, this riveting tale stars Suhas alongside talented actresses Payal Radhakrishna and Rashi Singh, promising audiences an immersive cinematic experience like never before.
“I loved the concept of face blindness as told by the director,” Suhas enthused, highlighting the innovative narrative approach that sets Prasanna Vadanam apart. He added, “The screenplay, survival drama, and climax that he had thought of were overpowering. As soon as I heard the story, I was determined to do it.”
Delving into his preparation for the role, Suhas revealed, “We did a workshop for ten days for this role. Sit with the director and see how the character should look and behave? What are the boundaries of that role? After preparing all this in the workshop, we went to the shoot.”
With Prasanna Vadanam featuring action sequences and Suhas portraying a character with face blindness, the actor acknowledged the challenges inherent in his performance. “It seemed like a challenge to give it any expressions. But I think I have achieved them,” he remarked.
Reflecting on his collaboration with director Arjun YK, Suhas expressed admiration for the filmmaker’s expertise despite it being his directorial debut. “It was a pleasure to work with Arjun. This is his first film as a director but he has worked with Sukumar in big films. He has a lot of experience,” Suhas noted. Further, discussing his eclectic choice of projects, Suhas emphasised his instinct-driven approach to selecting scripts. “I listen to the story with a blank mind like a normal audience. If I feel excited and clapping when I hear it, I immediately say OK,” he explained.
In response to queries about managing multiple film commitments, Suhas revealed his disciplined approach to balancing his busy schedule. “Eight films are really difficult to balance. But our managers, and I discuss and coordinate very much,” he revealed.
As Suhas gears up for the release of Prasanna Vadanam and juggles a slew of upcoming projects, including collaborations with industry heavyweights like Dil Raju and Karthik Subbaraj, audiences can expect nothing short of brilliance from this dynamic actor who continues to captivate hearts with his diverse roles and unwavering dedication to his craft.
