Former chief minister and TDP national president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday said that dissatisfaction against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is growing rapidly in the ruling YSRCP, particularly among the party MLAs.

Chandrababu Naidu was the chief guest of the training programme for the TDP activists. Later, chairing the party’s review programme and for voter enrollment, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP MLAs are coming out openly expressing their discontent over the State government.

”On the other hand, the TDP public meetings are receiving tremendous response. This is the reason frustration is growing in Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Chandrababu stated.

This is the primary reason why Jagan is creating problems for the TDP with the help of the police and is filing fake cases against the party leaders, the TDP supremo said. He asked why the Acts that are not applicable to the YSRCP leaders are being invoked against the TDP leaders. Observing that it has become a habit for Jagan to file cases against the TDP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu told the party activists to face them boldly. He suspected some conspiracy was being hatched to intimidate the TDP activists in Kuppam and gave a call to the party leaders to stand by the cadre who fight against this psycho Chief Minister.

Britishers better than Jagan: Naidu
Is Kuppam in Pakistan?, asked the former chief minister and TDP national president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, here on Thursday.

Chandrababu Naidu visited those party activists who sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment in hospital. The victims narrated their woes to Chandrababu and complained to him that the police beat them up mercilessly.

Later, talking to media persons, Chandrababu Naidu complained that almost the entire State police force is deployed in Kuppam and that about 1,500 policemen attacked the TDP activists besides attempt-to-murder cases were registered against them. “Four cases have been registered against the party leaders and activists. We too can file reverse cases against the policemen,” he said.

Observing that the State Government is creating disorder in Kuppam which is totally peaceful, Chandrababu Naidu asked how the police can encounter innocent persons under the direction of a psycho. “This psycho Chief Minister, who is in power today, will be out tomorrow. But the officers who are deliberately committing a crime will have to face the consequences,” the TDP supremo maintained.

Asking whether the Kandukur incident is not the failure of the police, Chandrababu Naidu felt that not deploying the police at Kandukur is certainly a conspiracy. “How can you register cases for your own failures and conspiracies,” he questioned. Stating that he has very high regard for the police, the former chief minister said that he never thought that the police will act in such a manner that they are now getting defamed.

Demanding that the police make it clear that cases will not be filed if no mistake is committed, Chandarbabu made it clear that his programmes in Kuppam will continue tomorrow and the day after. “Is it not a fact that the Minister, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, issued notices on the local granite businessmen,” he said and felt that such reports are coming from the whole State.

The TDP will not remain silent if Peddyreddy is looting the State, he said, adding that the price of Sivasakthi milk is brought down only after the TDP raised its voice. Pointing out that eight persons died during the visit of Jagan Mohan Reddy when he was in Opposition, Chandrababu said that he did not file cases then.

Maintaining that the Britishers are far better than Jagan, he felt that the State Government should have learnt a lesson when the court pointed out certain issues in the Guntur incident. Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the ongoing battle is not that of a party’s fight but a people’s struggle.
