DK’s meeting with Naidu triggers speculation

Must read

An impromptu encounter between Karnataka Congress Committee president and Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shiva Kumar, and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu at Bengaluru airport has set political circles abuzz with speculation. Naidu, en route to Kuppam, made a brief stopover at Bengaluru airport on Thursday morning to engage with the TDP cadre in Karnataka.
Coincidentally, at the same time, Shiva Kumar was boarding a flight to Nagpur to participate in the Congress meeting commemorating the party’s foundation day. With both flights parked adjacent to each other, Shiva Kumar quickly noticed Naidu disembarking and approached him to exchange pleasantries. A cordial exchange unfolded, marked by smiles and a handshake between the TDP leader and the Karnataka Congress luminary.
The speculation arose when Shiva Kumar took Naidu aside, holding his hands, and engaged in a private conversation for a few minutes before parting ways.
The video capturing this interaction swiftly went viral on various social media platforms.
The YSRCP’s social media wing wasted no time in disseminating rumours suggesting Naidu’s potential induction into I.N.D.I.A. They asserted that the meeting between the two leaders signalled discussions on this matter.
In response to the viral video, I-PAC team members promptly alerted the media, insinuating that the TDP, despite its alliance with the Jana Sena Party led by Pawan Kalyan, a current NDA partner, was exploring possibilities with the I.N.D.I.A. The I-PAC also posed the question of whether this meeting could potentially strain the TDP-JSP alliance in Andhra Pradesh.
