With the Assembly elections looming in the State, political parties are gearing up for the impending contest. In this regard, former MP Chegondi Harirama Jogayya has been writing letters to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan advising him on various issues related to candidate selection and election strategy.
In his latest letter to the Jana Sena chief on Thursday, Harirama Jogayya highlighted the importance of the allocation of 41 Assembly and six parliamentary seats for the party as part of the alliance with TDP. He emphasised the need for clarity in alliances, particularly with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), amidst speculations about the electoral landscape.
Furthermore, Hari Ram Jogayya urged Pawan Kalyan to contest from Narasapuram and also recommended his brother and Jana Sena’s national general secretary, Nagababu, to run for the elections from Tirupati. He underscored the significance of addressing concerns related to the allocation of seats between TDP and Jana Sena in the upcoming polls.
Expressing concern over the growing discontent among various social groups, especially in West Godavari district, Harirama Jogayya stressed the need for Jana Sena to secure more seats, particularly considering the significant support from backward communities. He also suggested that the party needs to empower grassroots workers to ensure a strong electoral performance.
As the deadline for finalising seat allocations approaches, Harirama Jogayya cautioned that any mishandling of seat distribution could lead to losses for the party, particularly highlighting the potential repercussions for TDP. He reiterated the importance of clear communication between TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP to avoid further discord within the alliance.
