Telangana BJP Election Management Chairman Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender said that farmers are facing a lot of trouble due to the Dharani Portal. Bommaraspet is an example of the havoc created by Dharani Portal, Eatala said.
He met Bommaraspet farmers at the Shamirpet Police Station on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Eatala said that KCR had stated before the formation of Telangana state that he will solve land record problems permanently and that land records will be set right to ensure that the poor does not face problems.
KCR introduced the Dharani Portal claiming that the state will become a role model in maintaining land records, Eatala said. Many had expressed doubts about the Dharani Portal when it was introduced and now Bommaraspet has proved that Dharani will drown farmers, he said.
He said that Survey Numbers 323 to 409 have 1,050 acres and farmers were cultivating these lands for the last 50 years.
“I have been here for 41 years. I know everyone here. They cultivate grapes and run poultry farms. However, KCR, his relatives and sycophants are troubling farmers who purchased lands 50 years ago. I request KCR not to trouble farmers as his rule will not continue for ages. I am asking MROs and RDOs whether they are working for farmers or for brokers. We will see if the Collector fails to respond. Officials must not ask farmers to settle the issue instead of solving their problems. I am demanding steps to solve the problems of farmers who have submitted applications,” he said.
