Don’t waste your vote on YSRCP, appeals Sharmila

Must read

Continuing her attack against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, APCC President YS Sharmila told the voters that voting for the YSRCP amounts to wasting the vote.
Addressing an election meeting here on Sunday, she denied the allegations of YSRCP leaders that she is reading the scripts drafted by the TDP.  Many areas in Kurnool are still yearning for drinking water which is reflecting the inept administration of successive governments, she charged.
“YS Rajashekar Reddy wanted to complete the Gundrevula project. If the project was constructed over two lakh acres would get irrigation water and six lakh people in Kurnool district would get drinking water,” she said and questioned Jagan Mohan Reddy why he failed to complete the important project.
Jagan Reddy promised to complete the YSR dream project Gundrevula in six months after coming to power, but he left the project to its fate. He also promised to unveil the job calendar every year but did not do so while his assurance of filling 2.25 lakh vacancies remained unfulfilled, she criticized.
The power tariff, the RTC bus fares and prices of liquor were hiked, she charged. “The government is giving welfare scheme benefits with one hand, and at the same time, snatching the same with the other hand by hiking prices of all commodities,” she lashed out.
She asked the people whether they wanted the Congress party which has assured of granting Special Category State or Jagan Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu who hoodwinked people with hollow promises.
APCC President YS Sharmila made a startling revelation stating that her Chief Minister Brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has lent her money which she has shown in the election affidavit. She said that every brother should give his sister her share in the property but Jagan Reddy did not do the same.
She took strong exception for indulging in character assassination of slain YS Vivekananda Reddy by the YSRCP leaders. “If the Viveka killers had been punished, YS Sunita would not have come to the streets seeking justice,” she made it clear.
