Director Puri Jagannath’s “Double iSmart” was expected to be a comeback film after the success of “Liger.” However, the movie fell short of expectations and became a huge failure at the box office. Ram Pothineni starred as the lead actor, alongside Kavya Thapar as the female lead and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the villain. Unfortunately, Puri Jagannath seemed to have lost his touch on filmmaking, and Ram Pothineni’s wait for a break continues. Interestingly, “Double iSmart” is a sequel to the hit film “iSmart Shankar,” which was also directed by Puri Jagannath and starred Ram Pothineni.
