It was a double dhamaka for BJP National Executive Committee Member Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender as he got the post of Chairman of the Telangana BJP Election Management Committee and also succeeded in making the BJP leadership unseat his internal opponent Sanjay. Eatala forced the BJP to give in to his demands to change the leadership of the Telangana BJP and give him a good post.
The BJP high command had earlier made him the chairman of the Telangana BJP Joining Committee. But Eatala could not attract any big leader from other parties and many BJP leaders quit.
In fact, Eatala blamed the party for this as his post did not allow him to assure leaders who wanted to join the BJP.
Meanwhile, the BJP’s Nizamabad MP, Dharmapuri Arvind, expressed happiness over Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy, who was president for two terms earlier, becoming the president of Telangana BJP and Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender taking over the Telangana BJP Election Management Committee Chairman.
He said the BJP will come to power in Telangana on its own under the leadership of Kishan Reddy and that they will work as a team under Kishan.
Speaking to the media at the State BJP office on Tuesday, Arvind described Kishan as a mature politician and that Kishan is a lucky omen for the party. He also said that Modi will become the Prime Minister again.
He said that Sanjay worked hard for the BJP and had achieved many wins as the president of the Telangana party unity. He said that Sanjay launched movements against the BRS aggressively and completed his term successfully. He said that he has no differences at all with Sanjay.
Arvind criticised former AICC president Rahul Gandhi for criticizing the BJP. He said that some TV channels were giving classes to Rahul to teach him politics and those channels have decided to ensure the victory of the Congress.
He described the Congress as a dead organisation and without naming Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said how can the Congress come to power with a leader who had won with a majority of just 12,000 votes.
He asked journalists to report real facts and recalled Prime Minister Modi’s statement that the Centre will jail the corrupt.
