Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair Anup Satpathy inspected Duvvada railway station on Thursday to check various amenities and facilities available at the station. He inspected waiting for halls, railway offices, Foot Over Bridges, water outlets, etc. He took stock of developmental activities being carried out at the station.
During his inspection, DRM focused on creating awareness of the safe travel of passengers, adhering to the precautions while boarding & alighting at the station, and advocated not to board or alight from running trains. DRM Anup Satpathy interacted with the passengers in the 17015 Visakha express while travelling from Visakhapatnam to Duvvada. He listened to their grievances and needs. He advised the passengers to be more cautious while travelling in trains, to keep their premises clean, travel with proper journey tickets, not to pull the chain in midsections without any reason, never board/ alight from speeding trains, etc. He was accompanied by Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination) PK Maharana, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager AK Tripathi, Senior Divisional Signal & Telecom Engineer Deeptansu Sharma, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner CH Raghuveer and other officers from the Division.
