Over 1,998 DSC-qualified teachers, who faced neglect due to series of omissions and commissions that had taken place in undivided Andhra Pradesh, have been eagerly awaiting placement for them in the past 25 years.
They appealed to the Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao to fulfil his promise to them.
They recalled that many of the 1,998 DSC-qualified candidates died unable to support their families.
They pointed out how the AP government, rectifying the mistakes, came to the rescue of the 198 DSC-qualified candidates by offering them placements, they said expressing concern over the Government of Telangana not taking any action in this regard.
They express their anguish over the new state of Telangana was of no use to them.
