Title track of Lucky Baskhar released
On the eve of Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, the talented actor’s upcoming film Lucky Baskhar has unveiled its title track, celebrating the occasion with a vibrant musical release. Known for his remarkable versatility in multiple languages, Dulquer Salmaan stars in this compelling story of an ordinary man, Lucky Baskhar. The title track, launched on July 28th, takes listeners on a nostalgic journey to the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its infectious beats, nostalgic instrumentation and the legendary Usha Uthup’s powerful vocals create a memorable experience. The lyrics, penned by Ramajogayya Sastry, align seamlessly with Dulquer Salmaan’s character and offer a dose of inspiration to the audience.
Composer GV Prakash Kumar has masterfully blended 1980s Indi-rock with modern sensibilities, giving the track a fresh and standout quality that is sure to appeal to music lovers across various languages.
Directed and written by blockbuster filmmaker Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar aims to add another gem to Dulquer Salmaan’s impressive portfolio of cult classics. The film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading lady, opposite Salmaan. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios, the film promises high production values. The film’s period setting, recreating 1980s Mumbai (then Bombay), is brought to life by ace production designer Banglan, whose work is expected to garner accolades. Cinematographer Nimish Ravi beautifully captures the director’s vision, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli ensures the film’s editing is top-notch.
Having recently completed its shoot, Lucky Baskhar is set to release worldwide in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil on September 7th.
