Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devastanam atop Indrakeeladri has earned a hundi collection of Rs.2.67 crore during the past 14 days. It means that the temple earned Rs.19.72 lakh per day. After the completion of the relinquishment of Bhavani Deekshalu, the temple authorities conducted counting of hundis on the temple premises on Monday.
Durga temple Executive Officer (EO) D Bramarambha supervised the counting process. On the first day, the temple earned a hundi income of Rs.2,76,15,707, 395 grams of gold, and 17.283 kg of silver. Also, the temple received an e-hundi income of Rs. 8,078. The EO said that the hundi counting process will continue on Tuesday.
