Eatala slaps real estate broker

BJP MP from Malkajgiri Eatala Rajender slapped a real estate broker on Tuesday. The real estate agent was accused of encroaching poor people’s lands. Expressing anger over a real estate broker who was causing trouble to the poor in Ekashilanagar under Pocharam Municipality in Malkajgiri district, Rajender and his followers attacked the real estate broker and his men.
Eatala said, “The officials are supporting brokers. The real estate brokers are encroaching the lands of the poor with the support of police and revenue officials while creating fake documents around Hyderabad city. The officials are extending their support to the goons. It is like a fence eating a crop.”
Knowing that the lands are being occupied and injustice is being done to the poor with the complaint of the poor, Rajender went to the spot on Tuesday to inspect the area. The real estate brokers said that they will block the MP and even burn the tents. In this background, the brokers came in order to examine the lands there. Enraged while seeing the broker and his men, Etala slapped the broker. Later, the BJP workers also attacked the real estate broker and his men.
Later speaking to the media, Rajender said that he has been seeing the tears of the poor for the last six months. He warned, ‘Khabardar, if anyone tries to trouble the poor. The brokers are troubling the poor owners of the houses.”
Rajender said, “I came here after informing the local Minister and the police. However, the goons tried to threaten the poor even after I came here. The goons warned the poor to inform me. The police are losing their respect day-by-day. We will chase away goons while taking the responsibility to protect the poor if police fail to provide security to the poor.”
