ED questions Abhishek for 9 hours

The ED investigation of 7 Hills Manik Chand Products owner Abhishek Auvula is over. ED officers interrogated him for almost nine hours on Thursday.

Later speaking to the media, Abhishek said that he was interrogated in the gutka case and that he had answered all the questions asked by the ED. He said that there was no mention of the MLAs’ purchase case and clarified that no questions were asked about MLA Rohit Reddy.

Abhishek said that he has given details of all transactions with Rohit Reddy’s brother to the ED.

He admitted that there were financial transactions with Rohit Reddy’s brother and that he had invested Rs 1.70 crore in Nanda Kumar’s hotel. He said that he had explained to the ED that he was cheated by Nanda Kumar.

He said that he has to appear before ED again on Friday at 3 pm.
