The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making extensive arrangements for the upcoming ten-day ‘Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam’, scheduled from January 10 to 19. TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao shared the key plans during the monthly “Dial Your EO” session.
To manage the expected crowds and minimise waiting times, TTD will issue time-slot tokens to devotees. A total of 1.40 lakh Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets were released online on December 24, along with Srivani Darshan tickets. Donors who have booked online will be allotted a dedicated queue for the special entry darshan.
For the first three days, January 10-12, 1.20 lakh tokens will be distributed starting on January 9, with additional tokens issued daily for the remaining days. Tokens will be available at 91 counters, including locations in Tirupati and Tirumala.
During this period, there will be no room allotments for donors, and only devotees holding darshan tokens will be allowed entry. Special darshans for parents with infants, the elderly, disabled individuals, NRIs, and Defence personnel have been suspended. VIP break darshan will be restricted to those holding constitutional posts.
Accommodation in Tirumala will be limited, with devotees advised to book rooms through the CRO or consider staying in Tirupati.
Major temple events include Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam on January 7, the Vaikuntha Ekadasi procession on January 10, and Chakrasnanam on Vaikuntha Dwadasi, January 11.
TTD also announced the availability of 2025 diaries and calendars. Additionally, a replica Srivari temple will be set up at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) from January 13 to February 26, 2025, allowing devotees to experience the rituals of the Tirumala temple.
