Y Chandrasekhar Reddy, Advisor to Government (Employees’ Welfare), has pledged to bring the inclusion of workers involved in various government schemes under the purview of the outsourcing corporation to the attention of government leaders. Reddy made this commitment during the state meeting of workers participating in CPW schemes within the RWS departments. The meeting was organised under the guidance of the union’s honorary president, Vinukonda Raja Rao, at the Tummalapalli Kalakshetra on Saturday.
Expressing appreciation for Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s support, Reddy acknowledged the assurance provided to small employees by incorporating two lakh workers through outsourcing corporation in the State. This support extends to various cadres within the RWS integrated water supply departments, including electricity, linemen, fitters, attendants, etc., who have diligently performed their duties for the past two decades under the contractor system, now transitioning to APCOS.
Dr G Srinivas highlighted the parallel between the vision of Dr Ambedkar, born to eradicate the untouchability of the poor, and Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, born to alleviate poverty.
During the programme, union leaders V Raja Rao, R Srinivas, Prasad Babu, Gopal, Mallikarjun, Krishna, and others spoke, appealing to the government for assurance regarding their demands.
