As if rubbing salt into the wounds of Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief K Pawan Kalyan, who put up a poor show in the just-concluded Telangana Assembly elections, his meeting at AS Raja Grounds in the city on Thursday witnessed an equally poor turnout.
Addressing them, “I have endured many failures in my life. I will adhere to my ideology and shall not merge Jana Sena with any political party,” he announced.
Referring to the privatisation of Visaka Steel Plant (VSP), he said that the issue is linked to the emotions of the people and the privatisation would enhance emotions among people and he had apprised the same to the Centre. “If the JSP had one MP, we would have brought captive mines to VSP,” he claimed.
Shifting the focus to the neighbouring Telangana, Pawan Kalyan complimented Revanth Reddy following his appointment as the TS Chief Minister.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his eagerness to collaborate with the new Telangana government to drive comprehensive welfare and development initiatives, ensuring the continued progress of that State.
