District Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar on Monday called upon the officials to make the programme to plant one crore saplings on Aug 26 a grand success.
Addressing the officials taking part in the Praja Vaani programme held at the Integrated District Offices’Complex here, the Collector asked the mandal special officers to monitor the implementation of the welfare and developmental schemes being implemented through various government departments and submit him a report.
He asked them to hold review meetings with mandal-level officials to ensure that representations about Dalit Bandhu, Gruhalakshmi and BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu schemes inquiry reports reached him as early as possible.
He received 86 representations from the people coming from all parts of the district for the redressal of their grievances.
He asked the officials to probe into the representations received through Prajavaani in a week and send endorsements to the people who have submitted their representations with meaningful feedback. Also, he wanted all endorsement copies to be uploaded to the Praja Vaani website. He said that he would not spare anyone showing dereliction of duty in disposing of Prajavaani representations.
