The Congress government is giving equal priority to health and education besides agriculture, TPCC Chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said.
Mahesh Kumar Goud and MLC Kodanda Ram were taking part in a self-respect meeting of rural doctors at Indira Park. Addressing the meeting, Mahesh said the BRS government had removed the Dharna Chowk, but the Congress government restored it.
Mahesh said that discussions were held with Health Minister Damodar Raja Narsimha about the self-respect meeting of rural doctors. He said that RMPs and PMPs are the foundation of healthcare in villages.
He said the problems of RMPs and PMPs may take time to solve but there is confidence that it can be resolved. Congress means a ‘government of the poor.’ All sections are equal. We have no egos, he added.
“We will try to fulfil every assurance in our manifesto. The RMP and PMP system is needed in villages. We will discuss the attacks on RMP and PMP with the Chief Minister. The Congress government’s priority is farmers as well as education and healthcare,” he said. He said that 30,000 CMRF cheques have been cleared after the Congress Government came to power. In a democratic country, everyone has the right to question the admin, he said.
