The Andhra Pradesh Labour Department is taking steps to enhance medical services at ESI hospitals, ensuring accessible and efficient healthcare for all beneficiaries, said Additional Secretary Gandham Chandrudu.
During his visit to the ESI Hospital in Vijayawada on Friday morning, Chandrudu conducted a detailed inspection of key departments, including OP registration, laboratory, inpatient, and outpatient wards. He interacted with patients to gather first-hand feedback and assured them of continuous improvements in services.
Reviewing the ‘Dhanvantri’ online registration system and Aadhaar integration, he stressed the importance of a faster and more seamless registration process. He instructed officials to implement necessary reforms to eliminate delays and ensure timely medical care without inconvenience to patients.
“The government is fully committed to strengthening ESI healthcare services. All necessary support will be extended to expand and modernise hospital infrastructure,” Chandrudu stated. He directed ESI Director V Anjaneyulu to take immediate steps to enhance and upgrade services.
